Infant Research/Boston Process of Change Study Group Application of Infant Research to Adult Treatment
This 1-year program in specialized self psychology involves a 20 class sequence that provides an introduction to topics including the origins and evolution of self psychological theory and technique, the models of intersubjectivity and their application to treatment as well as the relevance of infant research to development and adult clinical work. Students who successfully complete this one year sequence can gain credit towards meeting the requirements for the 4 year psychoanalytic program at IPSS.
All classes meet in faculty offices from 8:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The cost of the program is $990.00 for the entire sequence.
