One-Year Post Graduate Program in Psychoanalysis

A one-year, post-certificate program for psychoanalysts interested in recent developments in self psychology and intersubjectivity.

Eligibility for Admission

Applicants are required to be licensed mental health professionals, i.e., psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, who have a certificate from a psychoanalytic institute, a working knowledge of self psychology, and substantial clinical experience.

How to Apply

Applicants are asked to submit evidence of their analytic certification. A non-refundable $50 application fee must accompany the application form. Applicants are interviewed by one member of the Coordinating Committee of the training program. Fees

Tuition is $900.00 per semester (two-semesters per year).   

Course Schedule & Descriptions

The course work consists of one class per week over one academic year. Classes will be held on Tuesday nights from 8:00-9:30 p.m. and will cover theoretical innovations in the general arena of self psychology from Kohut's original theories to the present.
